MegaCorp Logistics is a Top Work Place for 2018

MegaCorp Logistics has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Cincinnati Enquirer for the fourth year in a row.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics). The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

President of MegaCorp Logistics, Bob Klare, stated that:

“A top work place is a reflection not only of the company’s vision but more importantly the environment created by how co-workers interact and treat each other. I thank each MegaCorp employee, for all that they personally contribute every day, to make this a great place to come to work. We pride ourselves in creating an energetic, pleasant work atmosphere for our employees and we are pleased to receive this award as a reflection of our efforts.”

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement. Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”

Brian Harman Visits MegaCorp’s Headquarters

Brian Harman and MegaCorp Logistics

Ryan showing an intrigued Brian around MegaCorp headquarters.

PGA Tour Professional, Brian Harman, stopped by MegaCorp’s headquarters earlier this week to meet our staff and to learn more about our day to day operations.  He was an absolute pleasure and very personable.  Harman had great questions about our industry and was very engaging.

Harman met our CEO, Ryan Legg, this fall at a First Tee charity event at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, NC.  The two instantly and organically hit it off and have become friends and business partners.

Bob Bonner, wearing a headset and has camera on a tripod in front of him. Brian is seated across from him, deep in thought during the interview.

Bob Bonner, from the NBC affiliate (WECT) in Wilmington, NC, interviewed both Ryan and Brian about how their relationship developed.  We are appreciative of this great video (below) that Bonner put together for the news.   After the office visit and interview, Harman went on to play a round of golf with Legg and some staff members.  They played at Eagle Point Golf Club where he won the Wells Fargo Championship last year before heading over to Charlotte to get ready for the Championship this weekend. It was a great day and we wish Brian Harman the best!
