When MegaCorp learned from the non-profit Furniture Finders, that a truckload of furniture would be donated by La-Z-Boy to aid the victims, we did not hesitate to offer our help. We called upon one of our carrier partners to pick up the load and deliver it to a warehouse in Wilmington, NC, all expenses paid by MegaCorp.  Furniture Finders will distribute all donations to the families in need.

When we asked our staff for volunteers to help unload the 64′ trailer, we received an overwhelming response.  A large group from MegaCorp which included our Founder/CEO, Corporate Operations Director and members from our sales, administrative, and night teams showed up early in the morning to help move the furniture.  The Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WECT showed up to cover the story, which you can read here.

We are thankful for Furniture Finders’ continuous efforts to help Florence victims.  For the past ten years, they have worked with Catholic Charities to help provide furniture to families in need after devastating events.  Donations and deliveries are done mostly on the weekend and volunteers are needed to help load and unload furniture.  For more information visit their Facebook Page.
